Leasing Associate - New Development Lease-Up
About the Role:
Charlesgate, a forward-thinking real estate firm based in Boston, is expanding into the New Jersey market with a new 100+ unit multifamily development in Orange. We’re looking for a licensed Leasing Associate to help lead the leasing execution for this project, working in partnership with a local brokerage and Charlesgate’s internal leasing platform.
This is a project-based opportunity focused on driving velocity, building strong prospect pipelines, and delivering a high-touch experience during the critical lease-up phase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Charlesgate’s leasing platform and a partnered local brokerage to execute a strategic lease-up for a 100+ unit multifamily property
- Conduct property tours, respond to leasing inquiries, and manage follow-ups through CRM systems
- Track and report leasing performance, traffic data, and conversion metrics
- Assist in executing marketing campaigns, events, and outreach efforts to drive visibility and lead generation
- Provide a best-in-class prospect experience from first contact to lease signing
- Maintain strong knowledge of floor plans, pricing, availability, and building features
- Ensure all leasing documents, applications, and compliance processes are properly managed
- Represent the property and Charlesgate’s brand professionally at all times
Qualifications:
- Active New Jersey real estate license required
- Proven leasing experience, ideally with new developments or lease-ups
- Strong communication and sales skills with a customer-first mindset
- Experience using leasing CRM software and digital marketing tools
- Organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed during lease-up
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with evolving processes
Project Duration:
This is a project-based leasing role focused on the lease-up phase. Compensation and timeline will be structured accordingly, with opportunity for continued partnership on future projects depending on performance and need.
