Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Property Manager to lead operations for a newly developed 100+ unit multifamily property in Orange, NJ. This is a critical role in launching our presence in a new market. You’ll be the on-site lead responsible for delivering a best-in-class resident experience, driving performance, and overseeing all aspects of lease-up and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all on-site operations for a new 100+ unit multifamily property, from lease-up through stabilization
   
• Drive leasing efforts, manage resident relations, and ensure top-tier service delivery
   
• Partner with Charlesgate’s regional and home office teams as part of our integrated pod model
   
• Implement and manage operating procedures, including rent collection, vendor coordination, maintenance oversight, and reporting
   
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and property-level financial targets
   
• Represent Charlesgate’s brand in the local community and with new prospects, residents, and ownership
   
• Coordinate turnover, renewals, and resident communications with attention to detail and speed
   
• Proactively manage maintenance staff and third-party vendors to maintain the physical integrity of the property
   

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in multifamily property management, including single-site oversight
   
• Demonstrated experience managing new developments and lease-ups
   
• Deep knowledge of property management systems, vendor relationships, and local market dynamics
   
• High sense of ownership, accountability, and an entrepreneurial mindset
   
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
   
• Experience working in fast-paced environments with evolving processes and structure
   
• Ability to adapt, problem-solve, and lead with initiative as Charlesgate expands into new markets
